Hey, what’s up, guys? We’ve heard of dual cameras on smartphones before the LG’s new flagship may be the first to call it set up a Penta camera that’s 3 on the back and 2 on the front, so it is more me better, and this is our LG V. 40 think your view. If you know, LG phones the V. 40 think use glass back design will look pretty familiar the edges of the glass are curved tapering slightly into the rounded aluminum frame.
The phone doesn’t feel small in the hands, but previous LG phones are pretty lights and 169 graphs, you like this is a personal preference. but not too over the top in our or a black in carmine red models. There are some metallic-looking highlights when they catch the light. Also on the back is the V. forties triple camera setup arranging a horizontal bar that flashes floating outside the arrangements.
But it doesn’t look too bad. The horizontal setup is relatively stable, and this phone won’t rock on the table or desk. The rear-mounted fingerprint reader is accurate and reliable to wake up the phone but is no longer a power button.
This power button has been moved from the back to the side this time around; I’m not a big fan. It’s hard to read to their some it has a bit of a mushy feel flipping over to the front we have a total 6.4 inch LED display with the Q. HD resolution, the largest so far in the V. series file, and yes, this one does have a notch cut out. The notch holds the front-facing dual camera set up and, in your piece, is a bit off-center. Unfortunately, LG insists on calling the knowledge a second screen, and you can opt to either hide it entirely with a black bar or even tweak its color or shape.
This screen is sharp at 537 PP. There’s HDR 10 video support to one thing we noted: though you get those deep blacks of an animal. But you can’t notice it with the naked eye greatness can be pretty good up to 638 minutes in automotive and brake condition. But without a motor of it only goes up to about half that several instabilities is good though. However, the color accuracy of this panel is quite an impression regardless of the many sliders and options available.
In addition, there is an always-on display that will give you the time and let you know when you need to check your phone. Unfortunately, For audio, The sound not only comes out of the speaker.
The V. 40 earned a perfect score in our lab tests. A 32-bit quad dak powers the good old 3.5-millimeter headphone jack at the bottom end audio. It sounds awesome. Everything is loud and clear on an FM radio too. The phone comes with either 64 or 28 gigs of internal storage, and it is expandable to micro SD.
The LG V. 40 thing here runs android 8.one oreo with LG’s own you. Why on top it is expected to update to android pie shortly.
The LG G. sevens with this colorful icon in white menu swiping to the left open up a customizable news feed. You see on Samsung’s flagships.
You can double press the button to open the Google lens. Unfortunately, the button doesn’t seem to be customizable. When you’re in a game, a button for game tools appears in the navigation bar. From here, you can disable notifications, hide the navigation bar and go full screen, and you have the option for face unlock if you don’t want to use a fingerprint reader to unlock the phone.
The V. 40 think queue is powered by Qualcomm’s high-end snapdragon 845 chipsets along with 6 gigs of ram.
Just keep in mind that if you’re after the latest and greatest, the next generation of chipsets will be coming out in just a few months.
The V. 40 thing here comes with a $3300000000 battery. We were surprised by its performance but not exactly in a good way. It got an endurance rating of only 60 4:00 hours in our proprietary tests, one of the lowest scores we’ve seen this year. With the quick bundled charger, we could get from 0 to 40 percent and half an hour, not too bad, but nothing mind-blowing there is wireless charging to it gets at 15 months. So let’s move on to the V. forties cameras.
There are 3 proper ones on the back. The leftmost is a stabilized 12 megapixel F. 2.4 telephoto camera which offers 2 times optical zoom. The next is a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an F. 1.9 lands, which doesn’t have autofocus, and the third is a 12 megapixel F. 1.5 primary cam. This comes with all the bells and whistles like phase detection autofocus and optical stabilization.
The triple preview feature makes it easier to handle so many cameras on the fly. Long pressing on one of the three icons creates 3 live viewfinders, some nails one for each camera that way. You can see which of you looks the best without having to rotate through the mall triple shot takes this further by grabbing an image from all 3 cameras and making a sort of zoom-in transition video you get to keep all of the stills.
